Emmanuel DNA

Join us on Wednesdays for our Teaching and Prayer time as we spend the next 4 weeks looking at our heritage and history that makes us who we are today.  6:30-8PM at Emmanuel House.

To Kick Off – What does it mean to be an Evangelical?

Consider these quotations from our history:

Martin Luther“All at once I felt that I had been born again and entered into paradise itself through open gates.”

John Wesley – “I felt my heart strangely warmed. I felt I did trust in Christ, Christ alone, for salvation; and an assurance was given me that He had taken away my sins, even mine, and saved me from the law of sin and death.”

Martin Boehm – “In a moment, a stream of joy poured over me.”

These are Real People.  Encountering a Real Jesus.  Hearing Real Good News.

Join us tonight as we look at our heritage to be inspired in our prayer to see our Real Jesus use us to bring His Real Good News to the Real People in our lives.

In the following weeks, we’ll look at:
Sept 19 – Why are we a Missionary Church?
Sept 26 – What does it mean to keep Christ at the Centre?
Oct 3 – Why do we rely on the power of the Holy Spirit?
